Sammi & Archer… plus leaves!
I couldn’t not do a blog about this little man. 10 month old Archer was simply BORN for the Autumn. And I think I was too. That perfect weather between summer and winter before the clocks go back; warm enough to venture out in a T-shirt and crisp enough to smell the freshness in the air. The colours of Autumn are my favourite and when you’re lucky enough to pick a day when the sun shines and makes everything golden like in this session, you have to use up a few memory cards shooting! Add the cutest baby ever to the mix and you’re onto a winner.
For this session, we went for an afternoon stroll at National Trust site Wimpole Hall in Cambridgeshire. Wimpole has been one of my favourite places since wandering around as a kid and throwing sticks at the frozen lakes in the winter.
Archer was a little camera shy at first (above), but as soon as Mum’s booby came out for a lunch time feed, he was a changed baby! Smiles all around!
Shooting in natural light in glorious scenery is my absolute favourite session to shoot every time. If you have a favourite place, a regular dog walk that you take, a place full with memories, drop me an email and we can talk about arranging a shoot in your perfect location.
